SUKAAqua NSR is a highly concentrated blend of non-pathogenic autotrophic beneficial micro-organism that simultaneously oxidizes hydrogen sulfide to sulfate or elemental sulfur and reduces ammonia to nitrate and to nitrogen gas. These highly selected strains are natural and not genetically engineered and are many, many times more powerful than the bacteria found in the average aquaculture pond. They can denitrify even in the presence of oxygen but has preference for anaerobic systems. They can utilize carbon dioxide as a carbon source, making this product especially useful in systems where the carbon source has been exhausted and where denitrification process is most imperative.
