Sliced Cut Natural Figured Anegre Wood Veneer Sheet
Description:
Figured anegre veneer, originated from the West and Central Africa, is a hardwood veneer mainly used for top grade furniture surface making and high-end interior decoration.
Figured anegre veneer has nice fiddleback figure with pale pink to reddish contrasting stripes. The grain is typically straight but can be wavy and, as in this sample, may be crossed with a heady fiddleback figure. The contrasting grain can be tightly spaced or slightly wider.
Anegre veneer is almost exclusively quarter cut only to produce the characteristic stripe.
Applications:
Figured anegre veneer is a product applied to the surface of the furniture to give it the appearance of being made of solid anegre lumber. It is also commonly used in surface of the top grade door, and also know as high-end interior decoration, etc.
