Description:This model consists of: 1) 2 ECUs (electronic control unit): 1 for rear and 1 for front detection 2) 1 alarm unit: digital LCD display with built-in buzzer and cable 3) 8 ultrasonic sensors with cable 4) Accessories: user's manual, double-sided adhesive tapes, quick-on cable clips and 1 drill bit Overview: 4 sensors are installed in rear bumper and the other 4 sensors in front bumper. The ECU for rear sensors gets power from reversing light and the ECU for front sensors gets power from the battery and the brake system. Once the engine is started, front sensors begin to work automatically for 30 seconds. And after each brake, front sensors work for 30 seconds. During car reverse, all the 8 sensors work simultaneously. The LCD display installed in front of drivers shows the direction of obstacle and the distance from bumper to obstacle. Features: 1) Top sensitivity: a person around 1.3 to 1.7m from the bumper or a normal cable can be detected with fast reaction 2) Min. distance: 15cm for front and 22cm for rear detection 3) 0° viewing angle of jitter-free LCD display with minimal false alarm 4) Audible alarm volume adjustable: high, low and mute. Audible alarm generated by the 2 rear central sensors starts from 1.7m behind, 1m for the 2 rear side sensors, 0.5m for the 2 front central sensors, and 0.3m for the 2 front side sensors.
