Traditional lamp is lightened through high voltage released by the rectifier. When the voltage is lowered, you can not light up. The LED lights in a certain range (90V-260V) can be lit within the voltage, also maintain its brightness.
4. Soft light, no flicker
Traditional fluorescent lamp using AC, so will have 100-120 times per second strobe. LED light can directly convert AC to DC, will not produce flicker, so it help protecting your eyes.
