Designed based on anchors used to secure oil rigs in the North Sea. The Stainless Steel model Claw anchor is constructed of high-grade 316 stainless steel, cast in a single piece. It sets effortlessly self aligning on bottom to roll upright and holds in a variety of seabeds mainly sand and mud. The Claw anchor stows easily on the bow roller of most boats.

Based on tests done to the ASTM B117 method suggest a 316 type part could be expected to pass a 96 hour test using a 3% salt spray

Polished by hand to a mirror finish to assist in making a quality part. In the passivation process after buffing, acid and rinsing remove surface contaminants from the products and produce a hydrous oxide film which enhances corrosion resistance. Every production shipment tested and certified
