Modacrylic : It is a synthetic and flame retardant. The fibers are difficult to ignite and will self-extinguish. In addition to a modacrylic's flame retardant properties it has a relatively high durability that is comparable to wool, and some people call it artificial wool because it is as soft as wool but cheaper. The modacrylic has several excellent properties, such as antibacterial activity, bulkiness, softness, wash fastness and so on.
Fireproof modacrylic yarns
1) 60%Modacrylic and 40%Cotton , 100% Modacrylic, or any other compositions as customer requires
2) Counts: Ne5s, Ne10s, Ne18s, Ne20s, Ne24s, Ne30s, Ne36s, Ne40s, Ne50s, Ne60s, etc. (single yarn and ply yarn)
3) Color: white, black, any colors according to customer's requires.
4) It has outstanding flame retardant property and will not melt in high temperature of 220'C for ten years above.
5) It is mainly applied in such fields as base cloth of filtering materials with high temperature resistance and electronics dielectric materials, and various protective clothing.It can be used for making fireman suits,high protective clothing,recuse team clothing ect...
