Trammel nets are made by hanging three webs to a shingle tip and bottom line. Thereare two outside webs or walls and an inside web of small mesh. The outside websare larger size mesh. When fish strike the net, they go through the first outsidemesh or wall, and then strike the inside web, pushing it through the other outsideweb, where it forms a pocket and holds the fish.
