Application
Orange silica gel mainly used as a desiccant, humidity indicator, indicating dry degree and environmental humidity. Widely used in household appliances, food, clothing, leather, petrochemical industry, pharmaceutical, aerospace, military industry, instrument industry, etc.

Allochroic silica gel is divided into 3 types: blue silica gel, cobalt-free blue silica gel, orange silica gel.
Blue silica gel (blue to red) contains cobalt chloride, cobalt chloride color from blue to pink after absorbing water.
Cobalt-free blue silica gel (yellow to red) contains congo red, congo red itself can be used as an acid-base indicator, colour change interval PH3.5 ~ 5.2, alkali state to red, acid state to violet.
Orange silica gel (yellow to green) contains methyl violet, methyl violet color from yellow to green between PH0.13-0.5.
