Astaxanthin is a carotenoid produced from Haematococcus Pluvialis microalgaeCarotenoids are organic pigments that naturally occur in plants and other photosynthetic organisms. These organic pigments are responsible for giving many plants, fruits, and sea life their vibrant colors.
