Decription
Barium in the steelmaking temperature range can effectively reduce the vapor pressure of calcium, increasing the solubility of calcium in the liquid steel.It can also absorb the impurities in the steel, to improve the shape of the inclusions in steel, and purification of liquid steel.The stability of calcium in the liquid steel significantly increased by adding the CaSi barium compound deoxidizer.
