Introduction:
Nitrided Ferro Chrome is widely used in the refining of stainless steel, corrosion resistance steel, alloy steel and such special steel, Nitrogen belongs to austenite former element, it can partly replace the expensive metal Nickel so as to reduce the cost.
The related research subject:
To select ferrochrome nitride as nitrogen source to produce nickel-free austenitic stainless steel at normal pressure. By means of smelting micro-carbon iron, adding manganese alloy and ferrochrome nitride grains, and controlling the time and temperature of pouring to ensure enough nitrogen content in steel.
The test results show that stable high nitrogen nickel-free austenitic stainless steel can be obtained after the melting steel goes through solution treatment.
