Overview:
E1-ETH Protocol Converter is Optostar\'s new style E1-10/100BaseT protocol converter. The device provides the transition between ITU-T G.703 (E1) standard E1interface and 10/100Base-T interface. It is a high capability, self-adaptable long-distance Ethernet net bridge. The Ethernet interface support jumbo frames (2036bit); have the function of E1 interface loop return examination, avoid the converter crashed because of interface loop return; the device start the standby chain while E1 line connectionless. Learn LAN MAC address uninterruptedly, transmit the MAC address as frame. Make TCP/IP transparent, provide communication safe, seamless connection.
Main features:
◆ Based on self-copyright IC;
◆ Ethernet interface support jumbo frames (2036bit);
◆ Have the function of E1 interface loop return examination, avoid the converter crashed because of interface loop return
◆ Examines if the malfunction because of the device crashed or E1 line is broken while lose signal or frame;
◆ Can set the E1 line not to send the LINK signal to Ethernet interface while it is error;
◆ Ethernet interface 10M/100M, half/full duplex self adaptable, supporting VLAN;
◆ Ethernet supports AUTO-MDIX ( crossed line and straightly connected line self-adaptable ) ;
◆ Realizes set the Ethernet port in 5 random mode, realize AUTO-MDIX function on-off;
◆ Provides 2 clock types: E1 mast clock, E1 line clock;
◆ Provides 3 kinds of loop-return function: namely E1self-looping at local end (ANA), Ethernet 11. Self-looping at local end (DIG), and Ethernet being ordered to self-loop at remote end (REM);
◆ Has the function of pseudo-random code testing, convenient for opening of the circuit, and can be used as an error code instrument;
◆ Supports 75Ω/unbalanced and 120Ω/balanced impedance at the same time;
◆ Network management interface uses SNMP;
◆ . Can compose Ethernet net bridge (A)—E1 Modem (B)—Ethernet fiber Modern (C) topology structure;
◆ Can compose Ethernet net bridge (A)—Ethernet transmission device(B)—Media converter (C) topology structure.
