Specifications: I\'\'m getting rid of one of my favorite saxophones, my original silver Plated 61,000 tenor. This is one of the earliest mark vi\'\'s made in 1955. The sound is as you would imagine for one of the vintage mark vi\'\'s. It has that sweet, resonant sound that have made these horns the most sought after. The engraving is an intricate pattern that goes Down onto the bow. There is no serial number on the neck. Luckily for you it has cosmetic plating wear. (see the photo of the player\'\'s side of the horn. ) that brings the price down for no good reason. But that\'\'s the way it is in this early selmer in world. I got an unmerited discount because of the plating wear and so should you. The case is a very substantial pro-tec contoured one.
