Product Description

The GPM250 is based on SirF Star 3 chip set with miniature size of 15x13mm. It possess 20-channel all-in-view GPS tracking that reaches extremely high TTFFs at low signal levels and, the build in LNA provides high sensitivity for indoor fixes.
The host Interfaces contains two full duplex serial ports. One port is normally used for GPS data and receiver control and the second serial port can be used as an alternate communication channel. The transmit and receive side of each port contains a 16-byte deep FIFO with selectable bit rates ranging from 1.2 to 115.2 K baud. The default is 57.6K bauds.
One shot pulse to On-Off control pin can set the module to sleep mode or toggle it back to normal operations. The independent power supply pin for RTC that allow the host system to keep the operations of RTC and the memory that maintain the almanac data while GPS part is shut off.
