When ignition procedure is executed by IFT (8 or 12) burner controller, gas solenoid valve and air solenoid valve open at the same time. As a result, ignition transformer (7) is electrified and an electric spark is produced at the head of burner.
With the slow opening of gas solenoid valve and air solenoid valve, burner (6) starts gracefully. Bypass of air solenoid valve guarantees a specific amount of air for burner cooling. The flow of gas/air which combustion needs is controlled by gas flow regulation plug valve (3) and air flow regulation plug valve (11). Orifice meter (5) is used for calibration of gas and air flow.
