Alkaline Electroless nickel for Aluminum
Introduction
1. An alkaline electroless nickel strike solution for processing aluminum prior to electroless nickel or electrolytic plating.
2. Produces a very thin, uniform, active nickel layer. Electroless nickel or electroplated copper, zinc, bright nickel, etc. can then be plated with excellent adhesion.
3. Be the second part of a two step process that deposits a double barrier coating of zinc and nickel on aluminum alloys prior to electroless nickel plating.
4. Also used in electroplating to replace the copper cyanide strike normally used for plating aluminum.
