T-660 PE Anti-corrosion Tape is an outstanding new type of cold applied tape, developed by our company on the basis of the traditional PE Anti-corrosion Tape. It is made of synthetic PE film of high and low density, with Byte1 self adhesive anticorrosion adhesive of high viscosity and thermoplastic as the adhesive layer, and supplementary antiseize parting film. The tape can be applied extensively in the anti-corrosion and restoration engineering of steel pipes used in feed water and drainage, gas and oil transporting, and other underground steel holdup vessel in city construction and other construction related to oil, natural gas, and chemical industry. It is a newly developed environment friendly and anticorrosion material, which is free from pollution and any other harm involved. Compared with the traditional anti-corrosion tape, it has the following advantages:
1) It is of high viscosity, waterproof, airproof and leak proof and has the ability of selffluxing.
2) It performs well in electric insulation, aging resistance, and ultraviolet radiation resistance
3) It can counteract the destruction of soil stress, and the impact force.
4)A single layer of the wrapping of the tape is sufficient to meet the standard requirement in common or reinforced anticorrosion stated in SY/T0414-2007, which will reduces the wrap layers necessary in traditional tape wrapping, so as to lower the influence on the anticorrosion effect, imposed by human beings in the anticorrosion process, and lower the construction cost.
5) It is convnient and time saving in the construction without the curing time, which will certainly shorten the construction period. Moreover, the construction can be carried out both manually or mechanically.
6) It is of low cost and free from the pollution and the three wastes.
T-660 PE Anti-corrosion Tape has passed the national specialized test and the results have far surpassed the demand in SY/T0414-2007, and fully met the index stipulated in ANSI/AWWAC209-00 and NACEMR0274-95. It is the most economical and environment protective product among the cold applied anticorrosion tapes ever have been produced, and can be used widely.
