Inherits the exacting control features of our professional series
In addition to the large 206 mm jog dial, which makes it a snap to freely control its functions, the CDJ-850 inherits the layout of the professional series and its ease of use, including the rotary selector, browse buttons and other useful functions. Its closeness to the operability of the pro series will please every home DJ.
Compatible with a variety of media and formats
Allows the home DJ to enjoy using all kinds of music formats and media as the CDJ-850 is compatible with the MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF formats recorded on USB storage devices or CD-R/RW discs.
Comes with rekordboxTM, the music management software that supports an easy DJ life.
Once installed on a PC, rekordboxTM allows the home DJ to analyze music files and manage them (make settings, create and edit playlists and save histories) in a way optimized for DJ play. USB Export function simplifies the DJ process

The CDJ-850 comes with our Tag List function, which allows a song to be easily registered with just the press of a button while playing or selecting a song, so a list of songs to be played next can be created. Further, the order of songs in the Tag List can be changed and the list can be saved as a playlist in rekordboxTM.

Prepared For Any Performance
Adapting to todays variety of media formats, the CDJ-850 enables playback of MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF audio files from CDs and USB memory devices. A USB port located on top of the turntable enables users to quickly connect an external storage device such as a hard drive packed with music files, minimizing the need to bring a laptop computer to performances.
The CDJ-850 turntable includes rekordbox, Pioneers proprietary music management software that organizes and catalogs a DJs entire music library. When music files are imported to rekordbox, the software analyzes each file and prepares them for use specifically with the CDJ turntable.
Tag List Function
The CDJ-850 comes with our Tag List function, which allows a song to be easily registered with the press of a button while playing or selecting a song, so a future playlist can be created. The order of songs in the Tag List can be changed and the list can be saved as a playlist in rekordbox.
Advanced Auto Beat Loop
The CDJ-850 generates an auto beat loop by pressing the 1,2,4, or 8 buttons. Creating perfect loops that allow DJs more time to blend in transitioning music. The CDJ-850 has 10 beat loop options providing DJs with a greater level of performance creativity.
Fully Assignable USB MIDI Functionality
MIDI compatible DJing software can be used via a USB connection to a PC. The CDJ-850 is also compatible with USB HID. By connecting via USB HID, the more complex operations of DJing software can be achieved without using a control disc. It can be used as a PCs audio interface.
