Basic concept
Glass is soaked in chemical fluids. Under pressure caused by chemical interaction, the ions in the fluids are exchanged with ions Na+ on glass surface. The ion-exchanged surface is thus strengthened against force. When the glass is tempered, it will be Up to 9~15 times stronger than normal glass.
