Liquid cephalic Aptt kit for determination of the thrombin time
Uses
It is for activated partial thromboplastin time testing
it is a liquid cephalic with ellagic acid as the contact activator.
Principle
Activate factor Ⅻ and factor Ⅺ with activator, brain phospholipids instead of platelet provide coagulation
catalyzing surface, calcium ions participate in this course , then observe the poor platelet
plasma clotting time , which is APTT. If deficiencies in the intrinsic pathway, clotting time will be
prolonged and proportional with deficiency of odd factors.
Clinical application
It is used to monitor deficiency of intrinsic factor VIII, IX, XI and XII, also used to screen low molecular weight heparin therapy
as well as lupus anticoagulant.
Storage
It has a 2 year shelf life when stored at 2℃~8℃.
It is stored at 2℃~8℃ for 30 days after opening.
