Tungsten composites mainly fall into two categories: Tungsten-Copper and Tungsten-Silver. Different components will result in varied physical and mechanical properties and applications.

Manufactured by a process (including pressing, sintering and infiltrating with Copper or Silver) under very strict conditions, the Tungsten composites are refractory metal materials with superior arc and wear resistance as well as good electrical and thermal conductivity.
