Specification : Xaar XJ-500UV/360 40pl High Performance Inkjet Printhead Endowed with a 70mm, 500 nozzle print swathe and "state of the art", self contained, control electronics, the XJ500 creates an ideal proposition for those looking for a high performance digital inkjet solution. Fast with high native print quality The XJ500 is capable of delivering up to 130 sq. metres of print an hour and offers 200 or 360 dpi configuration print resolution. Harnessing Xaar's patented drop-on-demand technology the XJ500 makes producing quality images from inkjet a fast and efficient reality. Advanced Building on piezo printheads' main advantage, that they can print different types of ink, the XJ500 is furnished with specialized control logic and electronics to provide flexible control and tuning for inks with different characteristics. To further enhance this capability the ink feed system enables 1 to 4 colours to be fired per printhead with no discontinuity between colours. Versatile To enable operation across a wide temperature range, the XJ500 has programmable circuitry for temperature compensation. Complementing this, the 'head is mounted on a precision chassis with datum on three planes so it can be easily positioned in most orientations. Applications Delivering real performance advantages in both scanning and static industrial applications, this versatile printhead is supplied with a range of approved UV cure, oil-based and solvent inks.
