Specifications: APC\'\'s Silcon UPS (10kw, 208V; with one BPI) is a reliable UPS that\'\'s designed to operate with minimal maintenance for several years. This package includes: a triple Chassis for (3) SmartSlots; a parallel card; a relay board, and an Web/SNMP management card. The Silcon has enough load capacity to serve a broad range of applications including: mainframe computers; enterprise wide installations; production lines; electronic control systems, and telecommunication equipment. Up to (9) Silcon systems can be linked in parallel to support specialized demands for power upgrading or redundancy. Bus communication enables intelligent load distribution for greater power conservation during periods of less demand. Featuring Delta Conversion On-line technology, the Silcon UPS offers high efficiency at a very low operating cost. Its unique PF ~ 1 internal power factor control eliminates the need for an external phase compensation unit. Other advantages include: no mains repercussion, and low heat and noise emission; 200% overload capability; audible alarms; a built-in static bypass switch, and more. The Silcon controller - the heart of the system - features advanced microprocessor and digital technology. Important parameters/values are shown on the unit\'\'s front LCD AlphaNumeric Display panel, and can also be accessed via a serial RS-232 communications port. Via standard, built-in communication facilities, the controller provides a comprehensive level of remote dialogue and control. Programming of parameters is facilitated by the controller\'\'s front keypad. The controller also supports battery monitoring and temperature-compensated battery charging. This ensures cyclic intervals of battery capacity control and charging under optimized conditions, enabling high system reliability and prolonged battery lifetime.
