Functions of the Component Parts
Solar Panel
Solar panel is the core part of solar power system. It’s capable in converting the solar energy into electric energy. The electric energy is then conveyed to and stored in storage battery or used to drive the load to work.
Solar Controller
Solar controller is used to control the function mode of the whole solar power generating system. Meanwhile, it can provide overcharge protection and over discharge protection for storage battery. In places where there is large temperature difference, the solar controller should also be provided with temperature compensation function. Furthermore, our solar controller can also be fitted with light operated switch or time switch. If required.
Storage Battery
In general, our solar power system is equipped with lead-acid battery. In addition to lead-acid battery, NI-MH battery and lithium battery are also available. Storage battery is able to store the electric energy delivered by solar panel and release the electric energy out when necessary.
Inverter
The direct output of solar energy is usually 12VDC, 24VDC and 48VDC. However, some electric energy. In that case, DC-AC inverter is applied to convert the DC electric energy to AC electric energy.
