Molybdenum disilicide MoSi2 heating elements is a high temperature furnace heating
elements, max temperature is 1800 deg C.
The molybdenum disilicide heating element is composed of cermet of Molibdenum and
Silicium (MoSi2), which can withstand oxidation at extremely high temperatures
(1800 ). These electric heaters have a high efficiency, due to fast warm-up and cooling phases. Low cost, easy mantainance and respect of a clean environment
also an added pro.
Typical applications include laboratory furnaces, sintering furnaces, testing equipment,
industrial production furnaces, glass melting furnaces, industrial furnaces for heat
treatment and metal sintering.
