Plate link belts are very robust, positive chain driven belts for medium to heavy duty applications. Formed from a series of castellated plates rolled to form hinges, linked with cross rods which pass through the hinge points and side chain.
The side chains are retained either with a split pin and washer arrangement, which permits simple dismantling for maintenance purposes.
Plate link belt are mainly for the following applications:
Die Casting, Low Temperature Ovens, Swarf Removal, Forging, Cooling Conveyors, Recycling, Elevators, tunnel freezer etc
Plate link belt features: 1.0mm to 6mm thick, side chains for positive drive, pitch 1” to 9”, carbon steel or stainless steel(up to 3mm thick), choice of stainless steel or cast iron sprocket, Customisable Sideplates and Crossflights
