Cable Drag Chains
This method of cable management is particularly suitable in applications where space is at a premium or where multiple cables are to be carried on a single system. Cable drag chains are also ideal for most robotic applications, having the ability to cope with high operating speeds and arduous duty cycles. Vertical, Horizontal and Radial movements can all be accomodated using standard products.
Chains are available in Plastic, Galvanised Steel and Stainless Steel with open, enclosed and tubular construction, most chains are also available with section dividers & cable retainers to prevent cable damage.
It is important to use the correct cables in drag chain applications, especially where fast operating speeds and heavy duty cycles are involved - please refer to Robotics Cables in the 'General Industrial Cables' section of this website for more information on suitable cables
