Tapered Mill is designed to open up restrictions or mill out cement and other debris contained in the well bore. The tool's sturdy construction and robust cutting structure ensure high material removal rates, minimizing milling times. The Tapered Mill can be manufactured in various sizes and configurations.
l The Tapered Mill is specially developed to enter into collapsed, split, flattened and other types of misshapen tubing / casing and mill it out to its original contour
l High number of flow ports for optimal debris flushing
l The mill can also be used for reaming out liners and whipstock windows
l Ideal to clean out "bird nests"
l The taper shape of the mill will prevent milling through the tubing / casing and will self centre the BHA
l Low Torque Cutting Structure
l Can be run on jointed pipe or Coiled Tubing
The mill will be redressed with a fresh layer of crushed tungsten after every use, ensuring customers start every job with a new tungsten carbide dressed Tapered Mill.
