Swivel is a tool of linking drilling tool when lifting , mainly used for rotary drilling rig geological core drilling. it is generally metal structure, there are several bearings, can be rotated to each other at top and bottom part, which uses bearings to rotate kelly bar and prevent steel wire rop breakage.
Swivel is a very important part for the rotary drilling rig performance, Usually should be regular maintenance ,inspection, and replace parts, to prevent risks. Surface with chrome plating, have good anti-rust function, increase the service life, using imported bearings with strong tensile strength.
we should :
1.each day checking the rotation condition of the swivel, if choked, not rotate. need repair or replacement immediately.
2.each day checking the situation of lubricating oil, if metamorphism, need change new oil.
3.install the swivel by correct way,can not reverse installation order,making swivel choked.
