Cubus Two-Seater Sofa. Inspired by the desginer: Joseph Hoffman, 1910
Description
With its cubical cushion and strict, straight shape, this loveseat is a typical example of Hoffmann design. The plain cube was the preferred design element. To create the deep, precise tufting, individual panels of leather are hand cut, hand welted and hand tufted.
Hoffmann himself was nicknamed "Cube Hoffmann" from this.
