This item can support ford focus from year 2003 to 2007 and Mazda RX8 with TP01 and 60 of T1.
The immobilizer module of Focus is located inside the instrument panel; it has no chip inside it, except Motorola 1K78X.
The immobilizer module of RX8 is located near the igintion lock head, with chip 24C02 inside it.
This tool is easy to operate, no computer is needed. It uses a 9V battery, no external power connection is needed.
Operation Procedures
1. Focus Key Programmer: remove the cluster, connect the AK-60 to the BDM connector by using the connection cable, start AK-60, insert TP01 or 60 chip, press M2, When the LED flash for only one time, and the horn make only one sound, the key is copied succesfully.
2. RX8 key programmer: remove the immobilizer modue, de-solder the chip 240C2, clear each PINs, install it onto the adapter, then connect AK-60; turn on AK-60, insert TP60 or 60 chip, press M1 button. When the LED flash and the horn make a sound, the key is copied succesfully.
Cautions!
1. When the LED flash for only one time, and the horn make only one sound, the key is copied succesfully.
2. When LED flash for 5 times, and the horm make 5 sounds, there is connection problem between AK-60 and target chip.
When LED flash for 10 times, and the horm make 10 sounds, the TP01 or 60 chip model is not correct or it is locked
