RS Brown fused alumina 98% is a new corundum product used to solve the problems in the process of the traditional Brown fused alumina 98% replacing the white fused alumina and tabular alumina according to the practical needs of refractory manufacturers and practical experience, which is jointly developed by the company and Luoyang Institute of Refractories. With high-purity alumina bauxite as main raw materials, RS Brown fused alumina 98% is made by a special technique in electric arc furnaces with high temperature above 2300℃ and  refining with longer time.It is characterized by high temperature resistance, corrosion and erosion resistance, low apparent porosity and stable thermal stability performance.
It solves such problems as bursting, crazing and pulverising in the process of Brown fused alumina 98% replacing aluminum-oxygen based corundums such as white fused alumina. RS Brown fused alumina 98% is the ideal product which can substitute white fused alumina, compact fused alumina and tabular alumina in China .
RS Brown fused alumina 98% sand (Barmac plastic) and micropowder (acid washing) produced by Rui Shi plant is characterized by without bursting, without pulverising and high
bulk density, good flow property etc, which can be widely used to manufacture variety of shaped refractory material products, corundum castable refractory,and other monholithic bulk refractory and caustic-burned corundum refractory products.
