For side-entering agitator, the stirring apparatus is installed on the side wall of the cylinder. Axial flow agitators are usually adopted, mostly, propellor agitators. It will achieve better effect than other types of agitators when the power consumption is the same. Power consumption of a side-entering agitator is only 1/3ĝĝ2/3 that of a top-entering agitator; and its cost is only 1/4ĝĝ1/3 that of a top-entering agitator. Its rotational speed is within 200ĝĝ750r/min. |
