This is our newest unit fabricated specifically for use with steel and aluminum wheel diameter sizes ranging from 14 inch to 24 inch with wheel rim widths of 6 inch to 14 inch utilizes custom precision slide units to measure individual bead seats of the wheel being tested. Unit is equipped with our custom universal chuck system which will clamp either lug holes or center-bore. Radial and Lateral measurement is taken individually at each of the bead seats. A custom chucking system will clamp wheel on the center bore or using the lug-hole pattern of the wheel. Unit is finished in black oxide and blue paint (steel) and blue anodize (aluminum). Unit is designed to test up to a 24 inch x 14 inch maximum size wheel. Unit equipped with one piece spindle for added strength due to weight of larger wheels. ) The universal chuck will clamp both, lug holes or center bores. Interchangeable clamping cones will be used for center bore (4 finger) or lug hole clamping (3-4-5 finger). Step pins for 2.00 inch center bore may be required. Clamping of 6 lug pattern will be in three locations and clamping of 8 lug pattern will be in four locations. Center-bore chuck clamping will use four clamp slide fingers to grip center-bore. Step pins for center-bore of 2.00 inch are required Lug-hole chuck clamping will use 3,4 or 5 clamp slide fingers depending on lug-hole pattern. Clamping of 6 lug pattern will be in three locations and clamping of 8 lug pattern will be in four locations.
