This card reader is for all models of coolsat receivers, coolsat 4000 plus, 4000 pro, 5000 platinum, 6000 premium. What you all have been waiting for? the viewsat vs2000 has an internal card reader, the pansat 3500s has an internal card reader, and now all coolsat owners can have one too. This is not only just a card reader, there are big plans for this reader, can already accept and understand iderto, viaaccess and all similar is07816 standard smartcards! No electronics experience necessary to install. The unit installs internally inside any coolsat receivers. A very minimal technical experience is required (a matter 1 plug and a few screws). Instruction the card reader installation: Tools required - a phillips screw driver Installation is easy. Simply pop the top off your coolsat receiver, screw in the reader with the supplied screws, plug in the power cord into its respective socket on the motherboard, then punch out the perforated plastic on the front panel where the card goes so you can insert your card. Power on your unit with everything hooked up and card inserted, then do a blind scan on t5, and presto! your subscription period begins counting down now.
