Application

Safety lanyards are a worker's vital link to their fall protection anchor point. Lanyards are typically short sectionsof webbing or cable that are usually attached to the D -ring of a workers safety harness. Lanyards can have a shock absorbing feature or simply be a short connection that connects to a lifeline or fall protection anchor point .  

The energy absorbing lanyards allow to absorb the energy of fall by tearing of specific webbings or sewings. 

Usage Instructions

1.Connect one of the lanyard snap hooks to the selected attaching buckle of the work positioning belt.
2.Put the lanyard around the construction element.
3.Connect second snap hook to the another buckle of work positioning belt. Adjust lanyard length with regulating buckle. The tension of the lanyard should assure a stable work position and restrict the free fall of the worker. The distance of the free fall should not exceed 0.5m.

Attention & Warning

1. Safety lanyard should be used along with full body safety harness.

2. The maximum length of safety lanyard including attached energy absorber would be 1.8-2 meters. The energy absorber can increase the deceleration distance 1.38 meters. Before using, please make sure that fall space permits using an energy absorber. Linked to point must be higher 6 meters than ground.

3.The energy absorber with lanyard must only be connected to front or back attaching point of full body harness.
1) It is strictly FORBIDDEN to connect the energy absorber with lanyard to the work positioning belt.
2) It is strictly FORBIDDEN to additional element between the energy absorber with lanyard and the structural ancher point.

4.Admissible time of use:

The safety lanyard with or without energy absorber can be used for 5 years, counting from the date of putting the device into operation. After 5 years of usage it must be withdrawn from use and destroyed. The energy absorber must be withdrawn from use immediately and destroyed when it have been used to arrest a fall.
