Polylactic acid fiber (Corn Fiber, PLA fiber) is based on corn, potato and other starch material that is fermented into polylactic acid and then polymerized, tspun into bio-degradable fiber.
The fiber can be blended with cotton, wool and made into new textile products with so good luster, silk touch, hygroscopicity, fast dry, straight and elasticity.
Characteristic:
PLA fiber has outstanding properties such as excellent drapability, smooth, cooling, hygroscopicity, breathability, natural antibacterial and faintly acid, heat resistance and anti-UV function. It is glossy and elastic. All these characteristics make it has remarkable advantage for developing underwear and sportwear.
