Materials of rings and rolling parts
Generally, NTL use carbon-chromium bearing steel GCr15SiMn or GCr15 for rolling parts and surface-haredned steel 50Mn, 42CrMo, 5CrMnMo for the rings.
Material of cages
The cages for NTL slewing bearings include integral cage, segment cage and spacer-type cage. We use 20# steel or ZL102 birmasil for integral and segment cages, PA 1010 resin or ZL102 birmasil or QA110-3-105 albronze for spacer-type cages. In recent years with continuous development of material industry , nylon GRPA55.25 started to be applied for segment cages.
Material of seals
Generally, NTL use NBR or VITON for seals. But there still very few slewing bearings NTL manufactured in early period sealing with felted wool.
