Water pump bearings is a double supporting bearing with a simplified structure, which constitutes no inner ring for the two supporting bearing, groove for rolling element directly made on the shaft, the outer rings of the two bearings made to a unity and two sides of the bearing closed by rubber seals.In the condition of same loading capacity, the radial dimensions are usually smaller than those of same kind; while in the condition of same radial dimensions, the loading capacity is usually heavier. Because of its good steel capacity and easy rotation and structure, they are used by many developed countries including USA, Japan, Germany and so on.

Water pump bearings are double row bearings and, in contrast to conventional double row bearings, do not have an inner ring but raceways machined directly into the surface of the shaft. As a result, there is more space available for the rolling elements, giving a higher specific load carrying capacity than that of solutions with conventional single bearings.

Water Pump Bearings are mainly used in the automotive cooling pumps, in which the bearing unites replace the original two sets of single axial bearings. The product series includes two types: one is two rows of balls, and the other is one row of ball, one row of roller, which mainly endures radial load. The small loading bearing adopts the two rows of balls, and the product with large loading chooses the structure of one row of ball, one row of roller.
