Description:The installations of color laser printer are growing every year. More and more people use laser printer to print photography and disappoint in poor printing quality or paper jam. What is problem? Paper thickness and color saturation: Basically, the color calibration of laser printer is based on common paper (80~100gsm). If increasing photo paper thickness (for example, the paper of photographic development system is over 180gsm), the color saturation will be reduced. How to avoid loss color saturation when increasing paper thickness? Printing speed: Slow down printing speed can take more time to let toner transfer and increase color saturation. Meanwhile, avoid paper jam. How to slow down printing speed? Change the paper range setting from default common paper to heaviest paper. For example, 200 g/m2 of HP CLJ 2605 and thick paper for EPSON laser printer. Thermal stress: Be careful! T heating temperature of laser printer will rise up to 200 degree C and the potential risk is possible to melt-down the coating material of paper surface or crack happening. Paper polarity: Paper surface has polarity is possible to improve toner transfer and color quality as well. Suggest use this kind paper to print in laser printer. Resolution: Due to toner is dry powder in natural, the paper has no connection with resolution. The image resolution is decided by printer engine, output printing quality and printing language. Currently, almost laser print engine use 600dpi, output printing quality will be 2400, 3600 and 4800dpi. PostScript printing language is also recommended. Glossy: Toner is dry powder. Whatever your paper is high glossy or brightness, the surface of photo paper is covered by toner after printing because toner is dry powder. Actually, toner embraces wax inside and it can offer brightness after printer. For extra high glossy, high cleaning transparent film is recommended to laminate. Harsh environment: Many outdoor applications such as agriculture, aquaculture need water proof, weather proof, tear resist, UV resist, without turn-yellowish and durable. Laser printing PP synthetic paper material is best choice.
