Fall Arrest Set Invluding Harness and Energy Absorber

Description :
Full body harness with back and chest attachments, made of 45-mm wide red polyester straps, and two corrosion-resistant
parachute buckles at the thigh level for opening and  easy adjustment of the harness.
Materials:
Straps: polyester.
Instructions for use:
This harness is recommended for all types of height interventions (frames, roofs, glass roofs, scaffoldings, travelling cranes,
cranes), for simple works, of short period or occasional. A harness must be strapped to the body as tight as possible but not
excessively to allow total freedom of movements to the user. Chest anchorage points must be used two by two to keep
longitudinal stresses if a fall occurs, and to avoid lateral assymetrical stresses as far as possible.
Limits to use:
Do not use this harness out of its usage specifications defined in the instructions above. Replace the harness if its protective
quality becomes doubtful. After a fall, return the harness for inspection to the manufacturer or one of his qualified
representatives. Schedule harness control every 12 months, either by the manufacturer or by a qualified representative. A
full body harness and a lanyard do not constitute a fall arrest system.
Instructions for storage:
The harness must be hung up in a temperate,.dry and ventilated room away from sun rays and rodents.
Instructions for cleaning / maintenance:
Brush with water and soap. The harness will be then wiped with a dry cloth and hung up in a ventilated room. Coat metallic
parts with vaseline oil soaked cloth. Bleaching agents and detergents are strictly forbidden.The equipment must always be
inspected before use. Check especially:
- Straps : no start of cutting, of burning, of rusting, of abnormal narrowing.
- Sewing : no visible damage - Metallic elements : no distortion or oxidation.
To make sure that the karabiners work correctly.
Performances :
This harness complies with the European directive 89/686, notably regarding design, manufacture and test methods, and with
EN361 standard.
