Honey pomelo is a large citrus fruit,15–25 centimetres in diameter, usually weighing 1–2 kilograms. This large citrus fruit with smooth, pale yellow skin is a member of the grapefruit family. The pomelo is ripe when the skin is yellow,the flesh is firm and juicy and has a tart, slightly bitter flavour but is sweeter than a grapefruit. Pomelo is highly nutritious with a sweet, refreshing taste. Pomelo is also known as Chinese grapefruit. It is a wonderfully refreshing fruit that is becoming ever more popular! It even has the function of clearing the lungs and intestines.
