 III.Application area:

 1.Mineral processing:

It can be used in floatation and smelting of Zinc, manganese and copper mines, its leachate and slag can be added into PAM to improve the separation efficiency.

2. Industrial Wastewater Treatment/anionic polyacrylamide for Marble slurry water treatment:

Dosing polyacrylamide can reduce the consumption of coagulant and speed up sedimentation.

3. Textile Auxiliary Agent:

PAM can be added with some other chemicals to prepare chemical grout, is used to starch textiles, can improve the adhesive property, penetrability and desizing performance, enables the textile to have electrostatic prevention performance, reduces the desizing rate, and reduces the starch mixing spots, cloth machine breaking efficiency, and falling objects.

4. Paper-making:

PAM can be used as fixing agent, residency agent, filtration aid and paper dry and wet intensity reinforcing agent in paper-making industry.

5. Mine Washing/coal washing:

PAM can be used in coal washing tailing centrifugal separation, for sedimentation and filtration of coal powder and coal mud, and can improve the recovery rate of coal powder and the filtration speed.

IV.Mineral processing product introduction

Anionic Flocculant Polyacrylamide can be applied in mining industry such as coal, gold, silver, copper, iron, lead and zinc, aluminium, uranium, nickel, phosphorus,potassium, manganese, salt and other minerals mining and processing and tailings disposal process. Its main purpose is to improve the efficiency of the solid-liquid separation and boost the recycling rate; pecific application including: 

1. In coal industry, the subsidence and clarification of coal slurry and tailings; the solid-liquid separation of tailings filtering and in the process of centrifugation;

2. In gold, silver or copper mining, as a settling agent added into thickener; when the PH value of ore-forming fluid is low(less than 4), such as lead and zinc fluid, PAM can be used as an additive to settlement etc.;

3. In aluminium, after the separation of sodium aluminate solution and red mud, used as an additive added in the washing process, so as to promote the fast settling of red mud particles and obtain required overflow.

 Coal industry  

After the coal is exploited, it is usually mixed with other kinds of waste. Firstly, they are separated according to their different gravity in water, the coal is suspended, and the waste gets down.

In the following process, by using flotation agent, the fine coal particle and the waste are further separated. Fine coal floats and the waste is down.

Then the fine coal is refined from the waste by sedimentation, filtration or centrifugation.
