Cationic Polyacrylamide of Coagulant for Water Treatment
What is PHPA?
- PHPA is short for partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide, which is polymer for drilling mud additive.
- Can be used in both industrial and oil / gas drilling
- Can be used in both fresh water and brines but requires high temperature
- Applicable in: shale stabilization, viscosities, friction reduction, fluid loss control and lubrication
- Can also be used mud additive for EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery) process to improve production of oil gas drilling chemical.

Packing in woven bag lined with two-layer polyethylene plastic or kraft bag glued with plastic. Net weight is 25kg each bag.
Solutions are no more corrosive than water and recommended materials of construction include stainless steel, fiber glass, plastic, and glass or expoxy-lined vessels. Do not use iron, copper or aluminum. Spilled polymer is very slippery and should be collected prior to flushing with water. The shelf life of these products is 24 months when stored in unopened package in a dry atmosphere at temperature no higher than 40°C.
