Superiority:

          Bamboo has peculiar natural grain and the product is especially smooth. Unlike  most  other  hardwoods, bamboo absorbs very little moisture and  does not shrink or swell as much, making it a superior choice for cutting boards.

          It is 16% harder than maple, which means less visible knife marks ,keeping the cutting board seem as a new one for years to come.
