PBT Tapered Filament FOR TOOTH BRUSH MANUFACTURING

 

 

Tapered bristles are made of PBT (polybutyleneterephthalate) filaments chemically treated to produce the unique tapered ends. PBT tapered filament is divided into single tapered PBT filament and double tapered PBT filament. Single tapered PBT filament is used for processing paint brush. And Double tapered PBT filament is used for processing toothbrush and cosmetic brush ,etc.

PBT NON-Tapered Filament(Generally PBT Filament)

 

Generally PBT filament is used for processing toothbrush, paint brush and cosmetic brush, etc.
PBT resin are melt-extruded into filaments, cooled in water, stretched, and annealed in hot-air chambers. These filaments have good dimensional stability, good bend recovery, and brilliant colors.

Standard Product Descriptions

 

 

• Diameter

Diameters are available from 6 mil(0.152mm) to 9 mil(0.228mm) as shown on the left.

 

• Length

The length ranges of the filament are available from 16mm to 34mm as shown on the left.

 

 

• Colors

Over 30 colors are offered in addition to Natural white. They will be customized by your color preference as well. Please see sample color code for current selection.

 

• Hanks

Each hank (bundle, diameter of 47-52mm and length of 30mm) is wrapped in specified paper.

 

 

• Standard Packages

Standard Packages for hanks are corrugated cartons of about 25kg(One carton is composed of approximately 625 hanks) net weight per item of one diameter, length, color, and crimp.

Net weight is calculated without wrapping paper. The filament materials will be packaged suitable and ready for your manufacturing automation.These options may vary according to customer’s preference.

 

 

• Minimum Order

Minimum order quantities for standard products are 300kg for size 6mil to 9mil. These options may vary according to customer’s preference.

What is PBT filament?

PBT (PolybutyleneTerephthalate)

PBT filament has excellent performance of toughness,abrasionresistance,low humidity absorption and color fasyness, And its heat-resisting performance, climate-resisting performance, electric performance and bearing electric performance are good. Because of its moisture rate is low, it’s very suitable for processing the brushes which are working in the wet environment.PBT filament can be sterilized at extremely high temperatures, it is suitable for food-industry brushes. Comparing with Nylon 612, it’s more economical, and always being perfectly substituted in toothbrushes or cosmetic brushes.
