Toothbrush Filaments

PBT Tapered Filament

Tapered bristles are made of PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) filaments chemically treated to produce the unique tapered ends. PBT tapered filament is divided into single tapered PBT filament and double tapered PBT filament. Single tapered PBT filament is used for processing paint brush. Double tapered PBT filament is used for processing toothbrushes and cosmetic brushes etc.

PBT NON-Tapered Filament

Generally PBT filament is used for processing toothbrushes, paint brushes and cosmetic brushes, etc.
PBT resins are melt-extruded into filaments, cooled in water, stretched, and annealed in hot-air chambers. These filaments have good dimensional stability, good bend recovery, and brilliant colours.

Nylon 610 Filament

The performance of Nylon 610 filament is between nylon 66 filament and nylon 6 filament, but its absorbency is little and it’s able to bear the alkali and week acid. Nylon 610 filament is the first-selected material which is processed the toothbrushes and industrial brushes.

Nylon 612 Filament

Nylon 612 filament is a kind of relatively advanced products in nylon series. Generally it's used for processing high-class brushes. PA612 (Polyamide 612 or nylon 612) resin are melt-extruded into filaments, cooled in water, stretched, and annealed in hot-air chambers. These filaments have good dimensional stability, good bend recovery, and brilliant colours.

Abrasive Filaments

Abrasive filaments are made of nano-particle modified nylon as carrier and 36~1000 mesh abrasive particles such as silicon carbide, alumina, and diamond grinding dust. The hot melts from the above are extruded to form abrasive filaments that are strong and heat resistant under wet or dry conditions.

Nylon 6 Filament

Nylon 66 Filament
Nylon 66 filament is the heat-resistant, good low temperature performance product. And it's also able to bear chemicals and oil.Usually it’s used for comb,toothbrush, cleaning brush and industrial use, etc.

Nylon 46 Filament
Nylon 46 filament has the best high-temperature performance in nylon series. Usually it's used for hair-dressing product and industrial use.

PBT Tinct Filaments for Cosmetic Brushes
PBT tinct filament can be dyed different colors according to customer's request. Usually it's used for processing cosmetic brush or paint brush, etc.

PP Filaments
PP monofilament is one of the lightest products of all filaments at present, and the price is relatively cheap. It has good mechanical performance, low absorbency and good chemical stability. Besides, it can be corroded by thick sulfuric acid and thick nitric acid, it is steadier to other chemical auxiliary. So PP filament is suitable for processing various cleaning brushes.
