Crimped NYLON 610 ABRASIVE FILAMENTS

DAMI abrasive filaments are produced by loading abrasive grits such as silicon carbide (SIC) or aluminum oxide (AO) evenly into high-quality nylon and extruding the mixture into filaments. 

 

Crimp: standard crimp (light crimp)/ heavy crimp/ straight

Standard grit load: 30% for #80-#320; 25% for #36, #46, and #400-#600; 18%-20% for #800-#1200;average tolerance is±2%.

 

Nylon raw material: N612 / N610 / N66 / N6, etc.
Abrasive grit: silicon carbide (SIC) / aluminum oxide (AO) / Ceramic (WA) / Green Silicon Carbide (GC) / Diamond (DM/NDM), etc

DAMI abrasive filaments have superior stiffness, good flexibility, and great elasticity. Brushes made with DAMI abrasive filaments are highly efficient in grinding, finishing, polishing, and deburring in different industries and for different surfaces e.g. curved, concave, convex surfaces or insides of pipes without damaging the dimensions and fineness of the workpiece.

 

Nylon610 abrasive filament is economical and widely used product that meets the requirements of most of the customers’ grinding processes. It is suitable for various work conditions due to its low water absorption, high bend recovery, and long durability.

With a melting point of 215℃ and a heat distortion temperature of 170℃, it is required to use cooling system under work conditions with high wheel speed and high pressure in order to increase the lifetime of Nylon610 abrasive filaments.
