MODE OF SHIPMENT, COST, INSURANCE & DUTIES:

Goods are shipped normally by courier (DHL/Aramex/FedEx/TNT/UPS or SKYNET), post (EMS), air, land and sea cargo depending on the orders volume and customers´ requirements.

We consign goods on freight to be paid at destination or advance payment basis by us on importers´ expenses.

Air freight and Insurance should be borne by the importer.

Samyak International Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for the claims if the order is not insured.

To get the benefit of reduced freight cost from Nepal the minimum order should be over 45 Kg for air cargo and 25 Kg merchandise for courier.

All the applicable taxes or duties up to Nepal custom are borne by the samyak International Pvt Ltd  and in their country of destination are the responsibilities of the customers.
Shipment cost depends upon the size of orders, time frame of delivery and mode of shipment. All of our shipping quotes include documentation fees, local handling , packing & stuffing fees and all other local charges levied in the packing and delivery to your Country. We are offering different types and condition for shipment.

• Less than 45 kg ( Courier )
•  More than 45 kg To 100 kg ( Normally Air Cargo )
•  More than 100 kg To 300 kg ( Air Cargo )
• More than 300 kg ( Air or SEA CARGO )

There are three shipping methods from Nepal.Shipment could be arranged through air cargo, Sea Cargo, and Ups, FedEx, Tnt Dhl, Sky Net even as requested.

Fast shipment:
If your shipment is very urgent, you can use some express courier services like FedEx, Dhl or Ups. This is the fastest way to ship goods, door-to-door, but is quiet expensive. It’s also the solution we generally use for jewelry order.

 Air Cargo:
Air Freight offers an alternative for shipping items weighing 45kg and above and measured more than 1.5 meters in length. Price wise, it is much more economical than Dhl, Fedex, Tnt, Skynet or UPS. items above 45kg. However, It is slower than Dhl, Fedex, Tnt, Skynet or UPS services, normally it’s take a 7 to 10 days from Nepal to reach most of the countries in the world . But you can send combination orders with numerous bulky items, which make it impossible or too costly to send either by  Dhl, Fedex, Tnt, Skynet or UPS. The buyer pays per kegs or per volumetric kegs. (Depends which one is the heaviest). Minimum 45 kilos.

Note: Shipping can be organized through various air lines. The goods has to be picked by you only from your nearest air port and you yourself has to handle the custom procedures.

Sea Cargo Cost & Information :
For the least expensive but slowest shipping option, sea freight will be the choice for bulky and extremely heavy products. Choose to send by sea freight only if you are looking for the cheapest mean where time is not a consideration at all and the order is too bulky or heavy to be send by either Air Freight , Dhl, Fedex, Tnt, Skynet or UPS. Cost of sea Cargo depends on the shipping destination and volume or quantity of the shipment, All of our shipping quotes include documentation fees, local handling & trucking fees, packing & stuffing fees, port loading fees and all other local charges levied in the packing and delivery of your container to the port. D.D.C. fees (Document & Destination Charge) levied by the port of destination are not included. Some International ports charge a D.D.C. fee upon the arrival and handling of your shipment in your local port. Please do check with your customs department for more information on D.D.C. charges.

Land/Sea Cargo
Land/Sea Cargo from Kathmandu to any destination of the world via Nepal Border to Kolkata/Haldia, Port India. It can offer services needed for Exports Inland Transportation, Custom Clearance and seaport-to-seaport delivery. It takes 30-45 days depending on the destination.

Sea Cargo :
Two alternatives are possible :
FCL (Full Container Load) :
That means that buyers will pay for a fix price for a 20 or 40 foot container, whatever he will put inside.
He can ship the goods whenever he wants, and like that synchronies with his production schedule.

LCL (Less than Container Load):
Thant means that the buyer cannot fill a full container, in this case, the shipping company charge per cubic meter.
The container will only be ship, when the container will be full, with other cargo’s customers.

Shipping Documents:
Bill of Lading :The Bill of Lading is the most important document without it the container cannot be claimed. It contains important data such as container’s number; seal number; bill of lading’s number; etc. It is mandatory and the cost is included in the Shipping expenses.

Packing List
The Packing List contains the complete list of all the pieces loaded inside the container, the total number of pieces and the total number of cartons (or cases) plus the volume measures (in cubic meters). The totals must coincide with the ones printed on the Bill of Lading and the Invoice. It is mandatory and the cost is included in the Shipping expenses.

Invoice :
The Invoice contains the prices of each single piece and the total value of the container’s goods. Import taxes, VAT, etc. are calculated according to such figures. It is mandatory and the cost is included in the Shipping expenses.

Certificate of Origin :
GSP Certificate of Origin (Form A) from Nepal can be provided, if required.

Fumigation :
The Fumigation/Disinfection Certificate certify that the goods contained inside the container have been fumigated/ disinfected against insects, fungi or any other kind of parasite that could be carried within the wooden material. In some countries is not mandatory; costs are different depending on the quantity of goods to be disinfected and are not included in the Shipping expenses.

Insurance:
We strongly recommend insurance on all orders. We are NOT responsible for lost or damaged orders caused by the shipping companies.
