He is the main figure in the Ramayana story and one of the most popular character in the story.He is son of King Dasarata the King Of Pancawati and he has a beloved brother ,Laksmana who always accompany Rama everywhere he go. when he was young he come to a competition to fix the bow’s string belong to God Syiwa. As the reward ,whoever could fix the string they will bring Dewi Shinta home as a. wife And Rama finally won the competition and married Shinta. Once upon a time,Rama,Shinta and his brother ,Laksmana, play in a forest for a pleisure suddenly Shinta was kidnap by Kalamarica who is the Rahwana’s servant then she was brought to Alenka Kingdom and Rahwana plans to married shinta but she refused him. Then Rama and Laksmana try attack Alengka Kingdom to rescue Shinta and he had support from the Monkey Troops who lead by Hanoman and Sugriwa. In the end of the story Rama was able to released Shinta from Rahwana and he brought Sinta to Pancawati Kingdom. But when They live together,Rama feel doubt with the Shinta’s purity because she was kidnaped for a long time,when Shinta herd this curiosity,she plan to prove her loyality to Rama, by jumping to the fire,if shinta lie or not loyal her body will burn,but if she is true ,the fire couldn’t burn her body.Finally,she walked out from the fire alive and it is proved that Shinta is true/loyal. Rama symbolizes a patient and defend the truth.
